After A. A. Cowan's salvation at 12 in Morehead City, North Carolina, he greatly desired to become a minister for God. He began ministering at 16 and became a Co-Pastor of a small church at 18. Over the next few years, he knew then that God had a much BIGGER plan for his life. A. A. Cowan became part of Victory Church in New Bern, North Carolina, and served as a National Evangelist to teach and preach the gospel throughout many parts of the country.
In 1992, A. A. Cowan moved to Norfolk, Virginia, and founded Light of the Glorious Gospel Church, which was later changed to Triumphant church. Many were invigorated and transformed by the powerful preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Also, A. A. Cowan served on the board of directors of the International Apostolic Fellowship of Churches, Inc. He assisted with evangelistic outreach of the organization through television media production, nationwide tent crusades, and the establishment of new churches. Later, A. A. Cowan transitioned from pastor to traveling minister to conduct revival meetings to increase spiritual initiative and renewal in the life of the church congregation.
Today, A. A. Cowan is a Prophetic/Apostolic minister based in Virginia Beach. He serves in the office of a Prophet and has been involved in Christian Ministry most of his life. He brings a powerful biblical message to his listeners. The message that he delivers is also clear, concise, and life-changing to those it touches. He is the Founder of A.A. Cowan Ministries, a premier prophetic ministry. A.A. Cowan Ministries' primary focus is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word via media resources. Audio and video messages offer encouragement and salvation to individuals beyond the ministry's immediate reach.
